‘I think every boy dreams of the sea, of sailing on a yacht. I can’t say that I’ve ever dreamed of a sailboat, but somehow from time to time I attended sailing competitions or participated in sailing boat trips. I was more of a motor yachts fan. For me, an ordinary guy who grew up in a council house without hot water, a yacht was an unattainable level of luxury living. I remember that I had a plot of land near St. Petersburg about 7-8 years ago. Somehow it happened that my plot was on the land owned by my friends. We met, and I offered them to buy the plot. But they happened to have a yacht that they didn’t need, so they offered to exchange my land for their yacht.
I decided to have a look at it. And when I saw this beautiful yacht with cabins, it was ‘love at first sight’, and I agreed on the exchange. Since then, I have never regretted that fate pushed me to get this boat. For me, this is an additional source of pleasure. Besides, it’s a powerful communication tool. I hold a lot of events on this boat. It turns out to be a field office on the water, where nobody bothers you, and your eyes enjoy beautiful views. So, as it turned out, it’s not just for fun, it’s also a great tool for work.’
